I think you need to get more information on just what exactly happened. Did the Oracle DBF file get deleted via the OS? This is absolutely the wrong thing to do. What exactly got deleted?

Hopefully, the removal process involved dropping the tables while in Oracle [e.g., using SQL Plus, Enterprise Manager, etc.] as well as all the other non-system objects in the database. Then you have to make sure no user has the tablespace set as their default TS, no indexes use this TS, etc. Then you can drop the tablespace. This will remove the Oracle DBF file.
