This problem occurs on machines with CPU’s of 100 mhz to 800 mhz, that are used by our corporation.

We use I.E. 5.0 and Visual Interdev 6.0 with NT Server 4.0, and SQL Server 7.0, to create ASP/ADO web pages. No DTC’s are used – everything is in code. This is a major application with over 50 forms and has an intermittent problem with combo boxes (Select – Option) loosing data (there is no value displayed).

When the problem occurs the data is in the table but not on the web form in the browser. Since the application is data driven, when the problem occurs, saving a record will save a blank entry from the corresponding combo box. This makes the record unavailable as the SQL Select statement is looking for specific information and not blanks.

Does anyone have any suggestions?
