This isn't relating to Grid1, but was a direct reply to Jim (I didn't included others on the bottom of the reply). I should have emailed him, but didn't want to do all those steps. I just want to help Jim (but did it in the very wrong way, sorry Jim). If he read my reply carefully, and think like an "grown-up", then it would have been just "oh" (with a understanding of words being expressed as of body language) rather "Hey you, you this, you this. You are the most (you insert whatever words you want in here) person I ever met!" Like you said, after all, it's "The Internet, by Al Gore", seems people are taking internet as their hearts, ever heard of "Internet marriage"? <g>
I am glad you have a understanding of both sides (yeah, Jim and me, who else?). In speaking of my position, I did explained ahead of time what I am going through and kinda warn others to be aware that what I may express here may be as of what I am having from my little boy boss (and I am not going to type what new conflicts of his own in here again). After all, as I went back to my old project to look over the grid that I did (to figure out how I did so), it seems I am getting closer to what I have already created (except a part out, which would have save the user from stepping back and forth, all that). There is one place that is considering me for their position, so it's still on-going process. On top of all this, I should have best just let it go instead of throwing my last dart. I still carry those words in my head almost all times, "Judge not, that ye not be judge."
Now, back to Grid1, I did all those that suggested, yet, the relationship isn't working now. The grid shows all records of the auth table. I did messed around with ReadOnly and it sometimes does it and sometimes not, I just can't see how the ReadOnly can play in any role with relationships? In the DD, the RI link is there. I am going to keep working on it, if not success, I'll be back :)
