Hi,

I recently posted a thread in the vfp forum regarding a windows problem I had.

Before the day was over, I got a few replies, but then the thread was moved to the windows forum.

While I agree that the message belongs in the windows forum, moving it there literally killed it. Most UT users are in the VFP forum and like myself, seldom venture into the other areas.

I think there should be a way to alert users in other forums about users who need help in other areas. If I had any specific ideas I would mention them, but unfortunately I don't.

If someone can think of something please post it.

After my experience, and in order to stay within the rules, the next time I have a windows problem I'm likely to go to other forums with more trafic and likelyhood of help than to post in the windows forum of the UT, and that's really not good for our community, but I don't see what else I can do when I need a hand with something unrelated to vfp.
