>Most likely it's the "Small Fonts" problem. By default, all command buttons (push-buttons) and some other controls on FPW screen sets are created using MS Sans Serif, and that font's size changes depending on whether their system is set up to use "Small Fonts" vs "Large Fonts". That also causes problems because the "foxel" positions on FPW screens are done in MS Sans Serif (by default) and therefore positions take on a whole different meaning in "small" vs "large". This is why a "large fonts" setting throws the position off the screen.

I'm not sure how this is going to affect the UT "points" game, or whatever you want to call it, but I feel that it's necessary to add a couple of solutions to this thread that you and I worked out in off-line discussions:

My original problem consisted of a login screen that I had developed and has been in use for several years; in this case, a user who had been given a new PC reached this screen, only to find that the words on the screen had enlarged to gigantic proportions. Regardless of what key the user hit, the error message "Location is off the screen" popped up, which was true since the font size had increased so dramatically.

Solution #1:
Try copying just the FOXPRO.INI from my WINNT folder (the screen works fine for me) to the user's WINNT folder, and then try accessing the FP screen in question.

Solution #2:
If #1 above doesn't work, copy FOXUSER.DBF and FOXUSER.DBT from my C:\FOX folder to the user's.

Once again, I want to clearly state that it was Brad's advice that steered me towards solutions that required a minimum amount of experimentation time.
