>Well, I'll agree on the age angle but as far as the dirty tactics go I think the playing field there is pretty even. <g> I think the first game against the Mavs was won by having experience but you have to credit the Mavs for being quick learners - that's for sure.
>Still, Malone is in great shape for his age. Stockton's knees are about gone.
>Personally, I'm not sure they have the will to win that's needed. Some of the younger players have some talent and I'll bet that they remain playoff contenders for some time.
>Who do you think will win this year? The Lakers again?
Stockton is cool. But Malone is getting cranky with age. Why the elbows and "bunching" a guy while in shooting motion? Player of his talent should'nt need resort to thing like that.
Jazz has been a regular playoff team too long without actually "winning it all" and I think that's taking its toll on the players and the fans - "always the bride's maid" syndrome.
I think the whole country would like to see the Mavs win it all because they are the "Cinderella" team this year, but I don't think they'll get past the Spurs.
I would hate to see the Lakers win again. I loved them when they had Magic, Kareem and Jamal Wilks, but now they're bunch of ....
GO MAVS!!!!
Work as if you don't need money
Love as if you've never been hurt before
Live as if this is your last day to live
Dance as if no one's watching
