>>Well, I'll agree on the age angle but as far as the dirty tactics go I think the playing field there is pretty even. <g> I think the first game against the Mavs was won by having experience but you have to credit the Mavs for being quick learners - that's for sure.

>>Still, Malone is in great shape for his age. Stockton's knees are about gone.

>>Personally, I'm not sure they have the will to win that's needed. Some of the younger players have some talent and I'll bet that they remain playoff contenders for some time.

>>Who do you think will win this year? The Lakers again?

>Stockton is cool. But Malone is getting cranky with age. Why the elbows and "bunching" a guy while in shooting motion? Player of his talent should'nt need resort to thing like that.
Well, he certainly throws his elbows around <g> but perhaps that's the result of so many years of taking a few jabs himself. Definitly seems to be taking the offense there. <g>
Stockton is pretty incredible and Malone wouldn't be where he is without him I'd think.

>Jazz has been a regular playoff team too long without actually "winning it all" and I think that's taking its toll on the players and the fans - "always the bride's maid" syndrome.
Indeed. Fish or cut bait. Perhaps they'll figure something out this off season. I do know that Larry Miller the owner doesn't like to lose.

>I think the whole country would like to see the Mavs win it all because they are the "Cinderella" team this year, but I don't think they'll get past the Spurs.
Yeah.. You have to give them credit for heart. In a few years they'll get the brains <g> by which I mean the experience...

>I would hate to see the Lakers win again. I loved them when they had Magic, Kareem and Jamal Wilks, but now they're bunch of ....

>GO MAVS!!!!

A man is no fool who gives up that which he cannot keep for that which he cannot lose.
Everything I don't understand must be easy!
The difficulty of any task is measured by the capacity of the agent performing the work.
