Are you talking about using RF data collectors, or just a bar code reader that interfaces with the PC via RF?

If it's just the bar code reader, the RF receiver units plug into a port on the PC (usually the serial port). There's a driver that comes with the receiver, which functions much like a mouse driver and translates the bar code that is transmitted from the wand or scanner. Your VFP program sees the input the same as if someone entered the information from the keyboard.
