I may need to fall back on this. The ideal solution I'm hopping for is more direct, one I can build it into my grid Combobox class.

I'd like to use something like this to set the value of a Combobox custom property flag or flags to do two things: 1) reveal if a mouse click brought focus to the control and 2) permit a conditional override of the dropdown list default behavior. I can do either independently but haven't yet managed both simultaneously. It has been a bit more complex than I initially expected.

Hi Spencer,

I implemented combo in a grid, and I also don't like the native behavior. I didn't try to write some code, though, because I have lots of other things to do, but if you design this class, I'd like to have it too. I can also be a tester :)

Keep me updated, ok?

Thanks in advance.
If it's not broken, fix it until it is.
