Computer Associates purchased Nantuckett. They decided they wanted to move the product to Windows and created Visual Objects as its replacement. Contrary to what others have said here, VO is NOT xBase. (but then, neither is VFP). I hate the term xBase and continuing its use is one of the things that keeps helps to propagate the negative conotation that VFP has among many people.
