A few years ago that would have been a wild laugh!
But, with the power of modern PCs it is almost a fact. My 1GHz Athlon with 512MB of RAM and 60GB of HD is about a 'mainframe' by 1983 standards.
Have you seen the specs on the new computer from StarBridge? (can't use the term PC because a license fee of voer $1M/yr puts it out of the PC class)
