It is not all so far-fetched, were it not for the operating systems that eat all the advantages of the bigger/faster systems. As it is, as the processor speed doubles, bus speeds get faster, Drives spin faster, net connectivty is faster, and all of it is being choked by a swelling code bloat.

1. How much RAM and drive space did Windows 3.1 need?

2. How much RAM and disk space did OS/2 need?

3. How much RAM and disk space did Office 95 need?

4. How much RAM and disk space does O2000 need?

5. How much RAM and disk space does WindowsNT 4.0 SP6a need?

6. How much RAM and disk space does Win2K Professional need?

Why does a processor need to process in Mflops to deliver 1k of useable data? (or even a T/F result?)

And the band plays on.................

Are we having fun yet?

Relax, Boss. We will meet the deadline! What? You want to add MORE? What do you mean, Over Budget?
