>I have to say that the VFP showing there was very impressive. It seems that the VFP group was much more active and prominent than the vb, vc or the sql group. Everywhere I looked I saw VFP badges. I think the Microsoft guys there must have noticed the same thing. At the final keynote the q&a panel had more VFP people than the other groups as well.
For the opening keynote the VFP attendees were louder and appeared to be more numerous than the other developer groups. Our keynote had 8+ people on stage from Microsoft doing the demo. VB and SQL had just the product manager.
Like you said, the VFP people were more organized. We had acoustic jam sessions, Microsoft events, a product launch (Voodoo), a group photo and other stuff. I was chatting with some SQL guy and he said something to the effect "I didn't know VFP was this popular". There were a few other comments like this.
