Are you using THISFORM.Locksreen anywhere and possibly losing track? FWIW, thisform.refresh does nothing more than fire the refresh methods of all contained controls, which do nothing more than set the value property using the controlsource. IOW, Refresh does nothing to change enabled or visible status.
