Folks,
Feel pretty silly about this, but I cannot get the basic FoxISAPI example to work nohow noway.
I am on Win 2k server. Have copied Foxweb project from MSDN Jan 2001 into the INETPUB\WWWROOT directory and compiled it into an EXE. Even gave it fancy descriptive name so I could recognize it in DCOMCNFG and set it to launch as the IUSR account on this machine.
Copied the Jan 13, 2000 version of FoxISAPI.dll into \INETPUB\WWWROOT directory also.
When I type in
http://192.168.0.1/foxisapi.dll/foxweb.server.delay?30, I get the 404-file not found error.
The best I've been able to do is get a "Foxisapi call failed" message on the browser, but I've lost that and can't get it back.
I also have a copy of foxisapi.dll in the inetpub\scripts folder. So I shut down the server (to flush the dll out of RAM), restart it, and type in
http://192.168.0.1/scripts/foxisapi.dll/foxweb.server.dely?30, and I get 500-Internal Server Error.
Have also tried Rick Strahl's original HelloWorld example from way back when when the world was young, and can't get any further with that.
What silly thing am I missing here? Is it Win 2k?
As always, TIA,
