Whatever you do it should be searchable. Try to encourage the help desk people to make up FAQS (if the size of the question base is that large).
Another idea. Most help desks work with a database of known problems. Put all of the VFP errors in it. They should never see a VFP error but it doesn't cost you a dime and might come in handy. An example that they might see is "Too Many files..." or that one about not being able to open the resource file.
Assuming you use some sort of error handler put all of the error texts that you use into their database and give some advice or point them in the right direction. (i.e. contact the developer, commit suicide because the world is about to end, and so on.)
