Aaaghh... I should have known I was running IIS from when I set it up. I was discombobulated by the PWS symbol showing up in my system tray for some reason. No wonder it isn't doing anything < grin > I'm still coming to terms with upgrading from NT4 to Win2K - the differences creep up and smack me from behind with great regularity.

>Win2k Pro is really running IIS (even though it says PWS). The PWS /stop pws /start commands only work with Win 98. To do the same in IIS, you could say "net stop w3svc" or "net start w3svc" from the command line. There's even a new command that does both in one step: iisreset.
