Has anyone come across or implemented the use of using wireless pda's for
order taking in a restaurant, and using a VFP database on the server side.

If not, any thoughts on this?


Possible approaches are:

a) use pocket IE for front end UI, all processing (business rules and
data) done on server side, running Wirelss LAN as the network layer

b) use client/server model (thin client on pocket PC) - maybe some kind
of Forms as front end UI.
