And it does not hurt that it made another point with the boss for its power at data munging and producing results.

I demoed it and not only were they impressed with the Pivot Table (they use Excel but not many people has seen/used a PV), but they were impressed when they saw that the VFP program gathered the last 30 days worth of data, munged it, summarized it and created an Excel PV on the fly, from a 500,000 record table in under 25 seconds!

It never hurts to show VFP like this in a small corporation like the one I work for {BG}
