Yes, Pivot Tables are cooool! In my previous job I used to convert SAP reports into Pivot Tables on the fly. Users were just amazed by what you can do with Pivot Tables. It takes only about 15 minutes to train a new user. After that, they can use any PT. As you mentioned, there are still many Excel power users that don't even know about it. Another cool feature in Excel is auto filters. Depending on the data, I sometimes convert result sets into an Excel sheet with auto filters. The combination of VFP and Excel is really powerful.

Unfortunately, Excel doesn't handle large data sets very well. After all, it's not an RDBMS. Does anyone know about a similar tool that can handle large record sets? Has anyone used the OLAP tools of SQL Server with VFP?
