Doug
Whatever are you on about?
I said that "God helps those who help themselves". You replied
>>That is an entirely un-Biblical and un-Christian idea. God helps thoise who cannot help themselves.<<
I replied
>This from the man who says he plays to win, Win, WIN. Judge not lest you be judged.
I think that's fair after you label my quotation of a principle by which you yourself apparently play, as "un-Biblical and un-Christian".
Now you give me a lecture about how I've bought into the idea that Christians are weak (?!?!?), did I set my business up to fail, I have not read your messages properly, that I am besmirching your character, that I am ignorant...
Lighten up. Ok I can see I pushed the DD "Angry" button, if you let me know which sequence of words it was that caused your response, I'll avoid it.
Oh, and FYI this thread *is* already in the chatter section, so your suggestion about showing respect for others by moving to the chatter area is equally bewildering.

"... They ne'er cared for us
yet: suffer us to famish, and their store-houses
crammed with grain; make edicts for usury, to
support usurers; repeal daily any wholesome act
established against the rich, and provide more
piercing statutes daily, to chain up and restrain
the poor. If the wars eat us not up, they will; and
there's all the love they bear us."
