Folks seldom mark my responses, despite responding with, "yes, thank you, that fixed the problem entirely." If I cared, I'd respond with, "great, now where are my points?" But I don't care, because I share your sentiments about how the system has its flaws. I'm not here for brownie points, I'm here to get customer feedback and maybe help out once in a while. But I can understand how someone might be a bit peeved when they're taking time out of their day (read: billable hours) to find that they're not getting any credit for their work.

This becomes important when the reward is a PUTM, which not all can afford, nor expense like I might be able to. So, how does the UT fix it? I have no idea, other than to appoint moderators to assess points. Please place me in the category of those that are part of the problem, because I'm certainly not part of the solution.

> What I'm saying is, just because a person has lots of points, doesn't mean that people with fewer points is not contributing just as many correct answers.

Yup, I thought it was a great idea at the beginning. But without a pop-up asking if this solved your problem, it's purely voluntary and arbitrary. But, again, points aren't why I'm here, so I don't care. Keep it the way it is, and my feelings won't be hurt.
