>>>Yeah, I thought that might be the case. I tried a crossover from COM1: to COM2: and ran 2 instances of Procomm. Also took a single port over to an Epson LQ-850 in Hex Dump mode. In all cases, all I see is hex(01 41 0D) for his F2 sequence. All function keys in Wyse-50 emulation exhibit the exact same behavior in Procomm. I am beginning to think these default function keys are meant to be terminal to host only, not to drive the terminal.

>Yes. I only see the problem trying to use the function keys. I can sit here and make the terminal dance with the exception of those keys. I can reprogram those keys to macros and do darn near anything I want, just not the defaults.

Reading the specification for the Wyse50, it says that the keyboard has programmable function keys - this may mean that all of the processing is done at the keyboard, rather than by the terminal, & the Esc codes (as on the above site) are what are sent from keyboard to terminal. Other than that, I've run out of ideas - hope you're successful in getting it going.
