Looking over the universal thread way of publishing, we already participate in a version of smart tags. where words like download files microsoft already link to other places that the writer of this document (me) didnt intend the reader to jump to. while this technology has the appearance of convience, it truly disrupts ones own message.

>I can only say that from the tone of reports I have read, we should be concerned if we do not want to participate in "Smart Tags". It sounds scary and I am sure this is only the beginning. Should we have a voice in this "feature"? Surely, Microsoft will only do that which is “best” for all concerned. Well, maybe there is someone who really needs this feature and cannot live without it.
