Cindy,

>The version of VFP7 you are working with may be several versions behind what is currently in use by the Beta group, and we are most likely a couple of versions behind the latest internal MSFT builds.

Hope some obvious bugs are fixed in the current MSFT build.

>My windows come up docked if I close with them docked.

Yes, the Command Window, Project Window, and toolbars are activated when closed active. But you have to manually activate the properties, data session, and document view windows all over again. Since these windows are most likely being used regularly during development time, having them docked into one window by default would be time and space saving just like VS.NET.

>I'm not familiar with the VS.NET treeview, so I can't comment on that.

VS.NET editor introduces the expandable coding blocks ( + - sign in almost every block of code) like a directory tree, tree view, etc. Your long lines of code could be minimized/maximized depending on your liking.
