I think something else is going on. I printed a test report using REPORT FORM TestMemo TO TestMemo.txt ASCII and the my memo fields show up fine when I view them in a text editor. I have no carriage returns at all in the memo field. The only way I could duplicate what your seeing is by turning off "Stretch with overflow," but you said you have it turned on.
