Havn't run into this myself since I rarely output to ASCII, but on way to approach the problem is to write a small routine which uses the MLINE and SET MEMOWIDTH TO functions to make a string in which you could embed the carriage return and line feeds. This could be done as a usere defined program and be called from within the report passing the memo field and returning a string with the desired formatting.
