The table I am working with is POTran and the form I want to modify is POPOSD. According to the AccPac naming conventions, some of the control sources on the form are "local variables not from fields" (such as lc_lrqdate which I suppose corresponds to the ReqDate field in POTran) while other of the control sources are "local variables copied from fields" (such as fc_vpartno which must correspond to the VPartNo field).

I have added a new date field to POTran which is named Agreed and want to add a textbox control to the form class for this field. What do I need to do to get the form to see my new field and to make the field updateable? Do I have to add records to some of the system tables?

In addition to the immediate need of getting the modification to function, I would be very grateful if you could shed some light on the inner workings of the Pro Series framework. Like how the memory variables are generated, how updates to the tables are performed, etc.
