I had already added the new field to the the SydFlds system table and run the update to actually add the new field to the POTran table. Is there any other system tables that I have to make entries to? Can you explain to me the use of the ObjName and ClasNam fields in SydFlds?

I guess my real problem is knowing what the name of the new field array member is. What determines this when we are dealing with a new, non-native field? I assume that this new field array member that you mentioned is what will go in the Control Source property of the control. Is that correct?

Also, how does one specify in an AccPac form class whether the new field is to be editable or read only? (I want this one to be editable) Will I just need to set the appropriate property on the control as usual or is that driven by another system table entry?
