If you throw a paint bomb into a crowd, don't open your eyes wide and protest innocence if it hits someone. Your "negative ninny" comment was a fairly untargeted lobb, so don't be surprised if people who got splashed think you threw it at them!
As for being annoyed... why would I be annoyed at being called a negative ninny? Actually I thought it was quite funny and passed on the compliment to Mike Asherman who I know *loves* my gentle brand of humour.
Last point: "complaining" if you want to label it that, is perfectly compatible with a positive attitude. I've seen you complain in other forums because you felt somebody was having a go at you. You negative ninny, you.
IMO this "negative ninny" is going to join FUD in the annals of history. NN. Has a nice ring to it..
