Hi Pete.

>I have the same comment for "Hacker's Guide to Visual FoxPro 6.0". The 3.0 version is excellent. We're looking to move up at my company, so I perused the preview pages from Hentzen. Except for 1 or 2 line changes in SOME of the examples, and the addition of only those things specific to v6.0, the book is IDENTICAL to v3.0.

As its technical editor, I can state for a certainty that The Hacker's Guide to Visual FoxPro 6.0 is far from identical to the 3.0 version. Certainly, those things in VFP 6.0 that didn't change from 3.0 didn't have many changes in the text (in some cases, there were new examples and better explanations). However, given that a lot of new language elements and tools were added between 3.0 and 6.0, there was a lot of new material added to the 6.0 book. Also, as others have pointed out, its availability in CHM format is actually way more useful than as a physical book.
