Seems like Windows Operating Systems as of late are closely coupled to the I.E. Browser – that is there is internal code within the operating system and browser and associated dll’s that are dependant upon each other.
When loading a number of Microsoft Software packages – I have gotten the message – I.E. XX required. Why? I removed the I.E. Browser from a number of my machines at different times. After reinstalling the I.E. Browser – the software installed properly. There is much that I do not know and the media only tends to misinform.
