Since I don't work with Novell anymore, I have not seen this behavior. For an immediate suggestion, why not setup one of the WIn2K machines with a share and host the VSS db there to see if the lockups continue.

If two of us Windows 2000 people try to work in the same VSS Project, it freezes up and ultimately we get bounced off of the server. This is not VFP Integration, it happens from VSS Explorer too.
