Thanks JP. Boy, this is driving me nuts. I appreciate your suggestion. I'm going to look into that today. Our database is a couple of hundred meg, so I want to be sure to measure twice, cut once and not stick it in the wrong place.

This may be a good way of isolating this to a Novell issue. Our network gurus are being a little stand-offish over which software to "blame."

>Since I don't work with Novell anymore, I have not seen this behavior. For an immediate suggestion, why not setup one of the WIn2K machines with a share and host the VSS db there to see if the lockups continue.
