>Tell me why the EU has been having a hissy fit over Ireland then. And why Ireland's economy is booming and that of the EU is failing.

Failing? That is a strong word. :-)

>Hmm.. Then why do the Canadians all seem to want to come to the US for medical care? Do a little reseacerh and let me know what the waiting time is for a voluntary medical procedure. Compare that with the waiting time here in the States. Dialysis for example.

Different subject. But I worked in dialysis for 5 years up until last year. Zero wait time. Interestingly dialysis in the US is one of the few medical procedures that the US government pays for.

We can enter the medical debate later. Let's get back to power plants.

>You're probably not old enough to remember several years back when New Zealand had to sell off a whole lot of governmentally owned industries I suppose. If their economies are doing better it's because of the government getting out of the economy, not because they have gotten into it.

I remember. NZ isn't doing too well. It was held up as the poster boy for right wing policies for much of the late 80's. The right wing no longer does this because NZ really isn't doing too well.

Back to power plants. :-)
