Yep, those is the same rates as here. The $6 or so that I will save by using AT&T for local phone service will be eaten by the $6 increase in cable modem rates. ;(

There are a lot of real nice neighborhoods that still can't get cable or DSL in the Dallas area. I suppose most of those will never be able to get DSL; they are too far from the central switch.
