>>>>ummm. What I was trying to point out is that; did MS finally 'market VFP?'
>>>
>>>Depends on your definition of "Marketing".
>>>
>>>For the record, the American Marketing Association (www.ama.org) defines marketing as:
>>>
>>>"Marketing is the process of planning and executing the conception, pricing, promotion, and distribution of ideas, goods, and services to create exchanges that satisfy individual and organizational objectives."
>>
>>I'm not being pro-MS, but wasn't the Fox community just asking for something simple as "MENTIONING VFP in newsletters", "not EXCLUDING VFP in newsletters", or "MS ACKNOWLEDGING that VFP is one of their products" or something along those lines? Or have I been out of touch for so long (in UT) now that the Fox's "marketing needs" have evolved much further to the grandeur mentioned above?

>Yup, people did.. however, some of the same people are already saying it isn't enough, which is exactly what I knew they would do.

Reminds me of a saying that goes: Give them an inch and they'll ask for a mile. Still, I like VFP very much and will still use it for the foreseable future. Can't wait for VFP7 to come out. MS marketing it or not.
