>Actually what I did was correct a seriously wrong statement. I have been corrected, rightly so, when I am wrong. I am grateful for it, and I'm embarrassed when I make gross mistakes. I am not proud of it.
"Or, maybe not. Sorry, but that's total nonesense, and terribly wrong. It's on thing to speculate but in this case it would have been quite simple to check before posting."
How can you possibly state that the obove was correcting a seriously wrong statement. All you have done is say that it is seriously wrong, you haven't even gone so far as to say how it is wrong, let alone correct it.
I thought the explanation was probably wrong, but didn't know why. After reading your comment, I was no closer to understanding why he was wrong.
I'm sorry, but I get intensely annoyed at the arrogant rude tone you have taken, all you've managed to do is offend without giving any clarification of your view that he is wrong. Or any indication that you actually know why he is wrong.
