Well, "Typhoon season" is what they call it here...there seems to be lots of activity lately...at this time of the year, the systems mostly build up around here and become Typhoons as they move west and north...later in the season (Nov., Dec.) is the more likely time for us to be hit w/a big one (that builds up south and east of there).

I hope for another "quiet" year...we've been lucky for a few years now...and the island is nice and lush, w/out that enforced (Typhoon) pruning.

Where is Cincinnatus? I grew up in Buffalo, and lived in Albany for high school years.
