I don´t know how large is your database, but I think that one way for do this is: create a cursor with the structure you want , after that look in the tables the data that you need put on the cursor the first group and add a record with the summary of that group; check for the second group, add the information of that group in the cursor and then summarize that group and add a record with the summary of the second group, and .....

The way for retrieve the information is whaterver you prefer.

After that the recordsource property of the grid is the cursor name.
