I'm waiting for membership of Yahoo group to see the first tip but the second one hasn't made any difference. I'm at a loss as to why it doesn't return the full field size (I've even tried changing from varchar to char without success!)

I cant even manually change the property to the right size as the view designer just puts it back to 20.
