Pick lists and such get pulled down and populated as needed. The type of querying you are doing in the grid is definately not recommended. They should enter a search criteria of some kind (last name, customer number, etc) and then pull the records that meet that request.

I am wondering why you are using RDO? It's slow and a pig.
