I guess we are at different levels of our profession; I don't have the luxary yet to dictate the environment. :) Though it is getting easier to get things once I'm on site as I bring a history and expertise that is obvious to those around me in a relatively short time. First there's resentment, then acceptance and finally they begin asking for your help. Sounds like the beginning of the 12-step program for those acquainted with a contractor... :)

>For us (me and some co workers), whenever we go onsite and/or offsite to work with a team, we require every developers who work on the project to have permanent access to the Internet - high speed and to know their way around to look for support (other sites and UT). I think that's a minimum. Answers to specific issues should be delivered fast and those tools are essential for any team now.
