Sunnyvale tends to be too cold for me, even in the summer...actually after 6-8 weeks, I adjust, but then it's time to come "home." And OC, Aug./Sept. are the hottest months here, so a good time to be away.

Yes. When I moved to Santa Clara from Buffalo, NY in 1971, I thought - wow! the ocean...great! then I stuck my toes in the water in Santa Cruz. Brrrr...
