Thanks for the input.

Our current approach for handling this doesn't require any extra software for our clients. They install our VFP product and then create a distribution for their clients from within our system. We're looking to change because the installation package we use is old (DOS-based setup) and no longer supported.

If we went with InstallShield, would our clients be required to purchase it too or is there a royalty-free piece with IS that we could distibute to our clients?

>Have you checked out InstallShield? A limited edition of IS Express comes with VFP7. It's a pretty good way to create installations and you and/or your clients can easily upgrade to the full version and do all sorts of tricks with that.
