Yes. You were right. After selecting the generic text printer in the page setup, when I redirected the output to the text file, I could see the data overlapping. But then I was surprised to notice that, IN THE REPORT LAYOUT THERE IS ADEQUATE SPACE BETWEEN THE LABELS. I deleted those labels and created again. Still it is printing the same way.
