Thanks for the info, I'd heard about CDDB, but not looked into it. The SDK maybe a way to go - it just seemed that if the information was available on the CD itself, that was the obvious source for the information. From what I understand though, the number of CDs using CD-Text is minimal, so using a method that is applicable to all CDs is probably better.
