>>I am trying to get MS KB Q162412 which discusses the "Invalid Seek Offset" problem with other software such as Symantec's PCAnywhere. I have a client with this problem on one computer out of about 25.

>Barbara, a still functional way to access the KB is by FTP. This was a faster way to get docs during peak hours in the past, and now it may be the only way for some of us until MS gets things together...just link to FTP.MICROSOFT.COM, then DEVELOPER, FOX, etc., directories until you hit the index numbers. You can also download the INDEX file and use to verify which docs you want...
Thanks, Bruce. That's a good idea if you know the file you want!
