>It's a little tedious but you can do it through the interface. Select Tools - Show History. Enter the time frame you want. Check the Recursive box and click on OK. After the files are displayed, select each one individually and click on the Detail button. You can enter a new Label in the dialog. When you close the Detail dialog, VSS will ask to save the changes.

I was looking at this - but I am confused. When the files appear - it shows only the ones that were checked in during the time specified, which are only a small part of all the ones that were "current" at that time. Does your method somehow mark ALL the files that were current at that time?
