Yeah, that'll work BUT the strange thing is that the GETOBJECT() call works fine on my machine with Office 2000 Pro installed BUT NOT with student machines with only Word 2000 and Excel 2000 installed. They (the students) have had this problem at work and we're trying to solve it in class. At work, the users have Office 97 Standard Edition installed on their user's machine and have the same problem trying to use GETOBJECT(). It can't be an Office '97 thing since we're running Word 2000 here in class and getting the exact same results.
